Hi friends! Welcome to my personal blog, Creating Purpose.
My name is Aleigha DiDonato. I’m 24 years old. I have a BA in Corporate Communication, and I’ve developed a love for sharing my life with others through writing.
Since graduating in December 2017 I landed a career doing sales support, but thats hardly where I find my passion.
Living a healthy lifestyle is something I try to maintain. I love to run. I ran my first Pittsburgh half marathon in 2016, and it’s a yearly event I don’t plan on stoping anytime soon. However, I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to working out. I’ve always had dreams of becoming a fitness instructor of some sort, so stay tuned to see if that ever comes to fruition.
Traveling is something I wish I did more of. I haven’t seen much, but I know I love the beach.
Photography, fashion, sports, food, crafts, and entertainment are all things I enjoy on a personal level with no deep significance behind any of them.
I began serving this past year in kids ministry and have fallen in love with every rainbow that walks into my life through that program. My faith journey is something I will often revert back to in many of my posts. It’s something I take seriously, and I’m far from perfect, but it’s what keeps me moving forward.
I’m mostly friendly but I can be socially awkward in many situations. That’s why this space is so valuable to me. I feel like I can really be myself. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing my posts have helped someone deal with a difficult situation in some way.
Which brings me to the point of all of this.
I want to share my life. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I don’t always get it right, but I have found such comfort in trying. I’ve always wanted to help people. I just didn’t know how. I’m not a doctor, a teacher, or a coach of any sort. So take my advice as just that. My advice. After working on this blog for the past year, I have gained a great bit of freedom. My hope is that it inspires you to search for the same peace that is within yourself as we speak!
